An Unforgettable Trip: Discovering the Oases of the New Valley
The oases of the New Valley are among the most beautiful places in Egypt, and each area has its own distinct character and breathtaking nature that makes you feel like you’re in another world, far from the noise of everyday life. We started our adventure in Dakhla, our first stop on a trip unlike any other. The weather was perfect for desert excursions, and the scenery was stunning.
In Dakhla, we visited several lovely spots rich in history and monuments reflecting an ancient civilization. Afterward, we moved on to Kharga, which was full of remarkable places — not just historically, but also in terms of everyday life and the simplicity of the oasis people.
Throughout our trip, we went on a road trip discovering the most hidden spots in Dakhla and Kharga. It was a journey full of surprises, and every place had its own story. But the trip wasn’t without its challenges: right in the middle of it all, on our way back to Cairo, we got into an accident on the Western Upper Egypt road, which, thanks to God, we came out of safely, and it was something we never expected in the middle of our adventure.
And despite everything we faced, this trip was one of the most beautiful trips we’ve ever taken. Not just because we discovered new places, but also because we discovered ourselves amid nature and history.
